Payments/Delivery of Recertified Devices:
After service is complete, PMP1 customers will receive an invoice for repair and/or recertification which will include all costs for parts, labor, shipping, and use of loaner devices. Payment of this invoice is due before serviced devices are returned. (Payment by credit card is available.) All customers will receive a packing list and tracking information on the day serviced devices are prepared for return delivery. All notifications are sent via email to the 1st contact on this form, not the billing contact, which is captured for reference only.
Shipping:
Qualifying PMP2 and PMP3 customers can enjoy the free shipping benefit of their plan by sending in this request form and then receiving free (standard service) return shipping labels. PMP1 and all international (outside US and Canada) deliveries require prepaid shipping.
Approval of Minimum Repair/Recertification Costs:
PMP1 customers are authorizing Techkon USA to proceed with repairs under $1,600 in total. If additional items and/or repairs are necessary, Techkon USA will provide an estimate. ALL PMP customers are subject to a minimum charge of $250 should they decide NOT TO move ahead with estimated repairs after a device has been evaluated. ALL are confirming that they also fully understand the conditions of the
factory warranty.
Note:If you are setting up an RMA for a recertification of a SDN2, or RS400 device, please read the following important information:
At this time, we can only offer the recertification service on these devices due to the lack of parts to repair/replace.
If during the device assessment it is determined that we cannot proceed with the recertification, there will be minimum charge of $250 plus return S&H. If we are able to proceed with the recertification, we will provide a certificate of calibration that is valid for 6 months. In addition, if your device is in need of replacement within these 6 months, we will apply a credit of half the recertification cost to be applied to the device trade-in/upgrade.
As noted, these devices are quite aged and we cannot source parts, as a result, we cannot provide any other warranties on service other than what is stated above – we appreciate your understanding.
