A Techkon Planned Maintenance Contract provides two (2) additional years of service and support after the two-year factory warranty and includes three (3) device recertifications.  This planned maintenance is critical to keeping your equipment performing at optimum levels and will help avoid sudden and unexpected interruptions on the pressroom floor.  Properly maintaining your equipment helps ensure the accuracy of your color measurements while also extending the expected service life of your device.

You will be placed at the front of the queue for expedited turnaround time on recertifications to minimize downtime.

As part of the program, you will get a free shipping label to send in devices for recertification, as well as free return shipping.

*If expedited service is not available for your device, we will provide a free loaner device for use during your repair or recertification.
ELIGIBLE INSTRUMENTATION

Customers who purchase the SpectroDens (Basic, Advanced, or Premium), the SpectroPlate (Start, Expert, or All-Vision) or the DENS are all eligible to purchase the Planned Maintenance Contract.

Whether you are planning to purchase Techkon color measurement instrumentation or have already purchased, you can take advantage of the Planned Maintenance Program. The Program is also available for renewal – that means if your current contract is about to expire or you are looking to add a contract to an older instrument, we have plans for you too!

YOUR PLANNED MAINTENANCE CONTRACT INCLUDES:

3 DEVICE RECERTIFICATIONS:

For each of your 3 device recertifications, our dedicated team of extensively trained technicians will carefully follow the process outlined below in order to recertify your device and ensure it is functioning properly and meets our strict international standard.

  • Clean instrument optics
  • Check/replace battery charging capacity
  • Check white standard
  • Verify & Update internal device calibration
  • Upload new firmware
  • Complete functionality test

Sending your device back for recertification is easy!  Simply fill out the Techkon RMA form and leave the rest to us.

2 ADDITIONAL YEARS OF SERVICE & SUPPORT:

With this program, you will get an additional two (2) years of service and repair coverage beyond the two-year factory warranty.  That is a total of FOUR years of repair coverage!  This includes repair or replacement of parts that are broken or not functioning properly.
